You are going to buy light bulbs, and you do not know which ones are ideal for your home. This situation is prevalent since today, we have several types of light bulbs to choose from, some have recently appeared, and we are not used to using them.
When buying a bulb, the first thing you should know is that there are several characteristics to take into account to know what type of light bulb we are looking for. Each room requires different lighting:
Consumption
Think about whether the room is going to be on for many hours. If so, it will compensate you for choosing light bulbs that consume the least possible watts, since in the long run, you will save on your electricity bill.
Durability
The hours of life always come in the bulb box. These data are obtained from tests and give us an idea of how long their strength can be. The more durability, the better.
Once we know what we are looking for, we will choose the right type of bulb in each case:
- Incandescent Bulbs
They are the ones of a lifetime. They work by passing the electric current through a tungsten filament, a material that, when heated inside the glass, emits a yellowish light. They are therefore warm light bulbs ideal for spaces that create closeness, familiarity and warmth.
- LED Bulbs
They are the ultimate in lighting. With only 3 watts of led, we get the same amount of light as with 40 watts of incandescent lamps. This makes consumption minimal. The LED bulb (หลอด ไฟ led, which is the term in Thai) is ever presentin the illumination of homes and public spaces.
They are the best option in any case. Especially in spaces where the light will be on for a long time, and in businesses where light is a major expense such as hotels, offices, etc.
- Energy-Saving Lightbulbs
They consume considerably fewer watts than incandescent lamps. Its useful life can be up to 15,000 hours. The only downside is that it takes a while to reach the maximum temperature and light.Ideal for spaces where we spend more time, such as the living room, bedroom, etc.
